Oh yeah, both. Most nurses and physicians enter the field for the right reasons. Some become jaded or harden themselves against the unpleasant realities of their profession; others don't. Most patients and/or their relatives are scared, sometimes doing internet research to learn more. Yes, it's marketing, but can also easily serve as a monitored communication tool for all involved. There may be some self-serving information by Mayo, but I doubt much disinformation will be allowed. If it sucks, it won't last. Mayo likely is aware of this.

I have the same feelings. There is real potential there and I hope they land on the right side of the line.
